| Behavior Management Strategies for Toilet Training Individuals with Autism |

Appropriate toilet training is a life-skill for an individual’s ability to function independently. This workshop will provide parents and professionals with strategies for developing a toilet training program for home and/or school settings. At the end of the workshop, participants will know how to develop and implement a toileting program. Specific topics that will be addressed include: reinforcement, toileting readiness, schedules, data collection and behavior management techniques that may support an individual’s success with toileting will also be discussed. This workshop includes three hours of in-home consultation for each participant. During this consultation behavior consultants will assist in implementing the techniques that were learned at the workshop including setting-up toileting schedules and reinforcement.
